I created a slide in storyline that is a reference for Covid. It's basically a reference for safety/protocols, such as Mask and hand etiquette, etc. I created four text boxes with subject areas.
I can't seem to align everything to look symmetrical and evenly spaced.
The Align tools offer easy buttons for making things align.
If you select only one object and then click an Align__ button, the program will set that alignment to the slide. In other words, Align Top will put the item at the top of the slide.
If you select more than one object and then click an Align__ button, the program aligns those objects in reference to each other.
The Distribute buttons are also handy to evenly space objects.
Another tip: Check the height and width of your objects. Adjust as necessary to keep related items the same size. (As possible, I like to make the pixel count something that's easy to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. For example, if my slide is 720 pixels wide, and I have six object I want to take up that entire width, I know each object should be 120 pixels wide.)
