Tips for developing customer training?

I work for an insurance wholesaler, essentially an insurance middleman, and we are working on a training site for our customers - independent insurance agents across the country. I am trying to find ways to create engaging elearning courses to train agents on our online tools, as well as the products that we offer from our 50+ insurance carrier partners. The majority of our agents work in small offices with 1-2 employees, so we need for the training to be engaging and informative so that they'll take the time to do it. Any suggestions would be very helpful!
