Trigger Conditions

Apr 10, 2014

Hi

I'm teaching myself how to use Articulate and was just wondering how to disable the user from clicking to the next slide until all the layers have been visited.  I assumed it was through adding conditions to the trgiger but I can find any information.

It's for an Induction program and I just need to make sure the learner has visited all areas of the slide.

Thanks in advance,

K

Hi Kaitlin and welcome to Heroes!

It looks like Cheng has you covered with a custom button, and if you want to use the built in buttons you would need to add conditions to your trigger (look for the Green Plus + in the trigger window) and I'd suggest using a method such as the one described here.  Instead of a variable on each slide, you'll need one on each layer - and set it to adjust when the layer is shown. Then, once all layers are true, (that's the condition) the user can click on the next button to go to the next slide.
