Trigger for showing a sequence of images and markers on a slide

Hi, this might not be the way to do this, but ... I have a slide with several images all with a corresponding marker which provides information for each image. I want the next image to load once the user has clicked the corresponding marker. I'm trying to do this with the states set to starting as hidden then having a variable that would say something like: change state to normal when marker is clicked. There needs to be a time delay to allow the user to read the text associated with the mark. I'm just wondering if this is the right way to do it, or is there a better way? It probably needs a button so the next image doesn't appear until the button is clicked.
All ideas gratefully welcome!

Hi Li - I would use custom states to do this. Add your first image to the screen (this is your normal state), then create a new state for each image (you could label them marker2, marker3 etc). Set the normal state to hidden. Then add a trigger to each of the markers to change the state of the image when clicked.
I have attached a simple story file so that you can see an example of what I mean.
It's funny, it is faster to create an example then it is to try and explain it.
Fantastic! Thanks so much, Nancy. That's just perfect.
