Hi, I have a trigger built into a slide master layer which, if a variable = true, should change the state of an object in the layer. It's not, and I'm stumped as to why. Another trigger on the same object in the same layer is working when the user hovers over it.
Doing this in the slide master is pretty key to making this course not be a total drag to develop, or I'd just move the layer/triggers to the slide.
I've attached the .story file, if anyone has any words of advice I'd really appreciate it!
The trigger you have set uses the when variable changes listener as the variable changes when the timeline starts but the layer is not open this trigger will not work, you would be better of using a change state of object when timeline starts on condition your variable is equal to true
