Triggers are mixed up upon a reopen of files

Dec 01, 2020

Greetings! I have 5 separate Storyline files that I created, published to our site, and they functioned correctly.

During the QC process an error was noticed. When I revisited the native Storyline 360 files (located on my computer) to make the corrections, quit a few of the tiggers have been altered. Some are linking to the wrong variable, some are showing "unassigned", etc.

I downloaded a copy of the same Storyline file from our server and it opened correctly.

Any issues, ideas or tips relating to any similar issues would be appreciated.

Hi Benjamin,

Thank you for reaching out!

Oh no! That doesn't seem right. Are the courses you designed on your local hard drive (C: Drive)? The reason I ask is when working from a network drive, this can cause erratic behavior to occur. You can place a copy of your project on a network drive for backup purposes, but avoid reopening the file until you've moved it back to your local hard drive.

If that isn't the case, could you tell me a bit more about your environment and where your course files are stored?
