I'm trying to have two images move across the slide together. While one fades out, the other fades in to give the appearance that the one in turning into the other.
SL is not handling them as expected. The image that is supposed to fade out jumps to the end of the 2-second motion path, waits for the other to complete its journey and fade-in then fades out while sitting still.
Follow-up: Lianne from Articulate engineering checked my .story file and changed the motion path trigger from move when timeline starts on picture to move when timeline reaches zero on slide.
That made the motion path work properly. However, I'm still not able to get the fade and motion paths to work at once. When they're both there, the fade works but not the motion path.
Glad to hear that you're making progress, Allen. I've shared your latest battle with Lianne in your support case so that you can continue working together.

Hi Allen,
I appreciate you sharing what you are experiencing with your project file and sharing an example for us to take a look at.
I see the same behavior you are reporting, and a couple of quick adjustments did not remedy the result.
I've opened a support case on your behalf so that one of our support engineers can take a look and work with you directly.
Thanks, Leslie.
