YouTube changed how they handle their API code in terms of embedding, so you'll want to utilize the web object method outlined here to insert it into Storyline.
Thanks for that info. I was able to get everything into the presentation and here comes my next issue. I've put everything together and published the presentation. Then uploaded to our moodle LMS and users are unable to view the content. User either gets an error message or just nothing to view (shown in picture attached). Do you have information on best practices for publishing with this type of content or any other info on why this is happening?
What's the error message they're receiving? Have they tried clearing out the cache to reload fresh each time? What flash version and browser are they all using? You'll want to make sure they're using one of the supported browsers here.
I'm attempting to do the same: Insert a video from a website into Storyline. I've inserted it as a web object, but when I publish it and try to view it in Chrome, the video will not play. Here is the code: <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://lkq.qumucloud.com/view/9BRy55l6GwL" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
I'm also wondering if there is another way to insert a video from a website without using iframe?

I tried your video's URL and also used the iframe code...both work, see here a quick test (never mind the poor formatting)
Are you testing localy (on your harddrive)? In that case the video may be blocked by your browser's security settings. Upload the content to some server and test again. Also, see attached my testfile.

Thank you Michael. What other reasons could keep it from playing for me?

That may, indeed, be the problem. Another question: Did you use Storyline 2? I'm currently using Storyline.
Hi Marcia!
It seems to work in SL1 as well.

I do use SL2, but that shouldn't be the issue.
