I created a crossword puzzle (attached) in SL2. I used data entry fields for each item in the crossword and I set up all the triggers and layers. However, when I delete some of the entered text letters and Preview or Publish, the text fields are no longer writable. So the student won't be able to do the crossword. Did I do something wrong? If so, I can't see it. The only thing I could think of is that I made the text entry window too small.
I've checked your file. You are right, the text entry boxes are too small for the cursor. Make your textboxes 30px * 30px. That will work. Hope this helps.
Thanks very much for the feedback. I played with it a bit this weekend and I found the text appearing in Preview with larger text entry boxes, but I couldn't come up with any other issues.
