I'm new to Storyline 3 and I'm trying to simply add a video from a website (or from my computer, etc.) but have been unsuccessful. Here's what's happening:
1. I go to the Insert tab
2. I try to click on the Video drop-down button. I'm unsuccessful. The button is grey and doesn't appear "active/available".
Make sure you're on a slide when you choose to insert items. If you're looking at that from Story view - all the "Insert" options for objects will be greyed out.

did you read this article? This might help. :) Also look at the supported file formats.
If you want to insert a video from a website you can use web objects as described here.
For both options you have to be on a slide you want the object to be on.
