Trying to Link from LMS back to internal drive to launch a training

I am trying to put a link into a course so launch a training 'sandbox' for a new system.  I have used the trigger 'jump to url', directing it to 3 different files (index.htm, kp.html, play.exe) and keep getting 'file not found.  Is there a different function I should be using?  The 'sandbox' course is the output from an Oracle tool called UPK.  I can launch the UPK output from within the Storyline2 course but we want to link back to the internal drive to avoid having to continually update the content as changes are made.
