I have a course where it is primarily a quiz broken into 3 sections. I would like to pull the questions from a question bank, but want to ensure that the same questions do not come up more than once. For example, my bank may have 21 questions - I would like for five random questions from the 21 be pulled in the first section and then in the second section the questions should come from the remaining 16 questions that did not get used in the first section.
I cannot find any instruction on how to set this up. Any help is appreciated.
SL Question Banks aren't set up to do what you want. For any given draw, the program can be set to pull a specific number of random questions. But it can't be set to pull only non-used questions in a subsequent draw from the same bank.
If you want to ensure that the questions used in your section 1 won't be repeated in sections 2 or 3, you'll need to set up 3 separate question banks, one for each section.
