I am trying to update an e-learn which I had originally created using Storyline, ver. 1. I had "lost" my Storyline ver. 1 when my computer was upgraded and consequently downloaded the trial version of Storyline 360, which asked me if I wished to convert the file, which I did. However, now I can't seem to locate the audio files which I need to update. The audio wave form does not appear on my Timeline. Can you please help me?!
Sorry to hear that you've run into trouble with this. Did you mean to upgrade the file or were you hoping to download your current version and make some changes? Once you upgrade the file, you will not be able to convert it back to a previous version.
You should have a backup copy of the file that you upgraded. If you'd like to pursue the upgrade, I'd like to take a look at this file and test uploading on my end to see what's going on with that audio for you.

Leslie: thank you for your prompt response. I actually did upgrade the file and I do have the backup file that was created in Storyline, ver. 1. Will you please help me locate the audio files in it, all my wave forms disappeared off the time line, as did my animations. Thank you so much!
The audio files are all in there as far as I can see and the animations. I updated to both SL2 and SL360 and the audio files were still on the timeline
Like Phil, I am seeing your audio when upgrading the file to SL360 as well.
Perhaps take another look at upgrading your original file and if you continue to have difficulty, I would advise a repair of your Storyline 360 software.
Leslie: thank you for taking the time to review my.story file. Maybe it’s me, I’m accustomed to seeing the sound on the timeline screen, but when I view the timeline screen for each slide, this is what I see-no audio. Can you show me where I would view the audio file. Also the animations no longer work, do I need to recreate the entire e-learn from scratch….? Please help, I’m supposed to finish this project by this Friday!!!!!

The ability to see the audio in the timeline is certainly my expectation as well Carol.
Here's what I see in your course updated to Storyline 360:
I cannot see the image that you are sharing, I presume because you may be replying via e-mail, which does not allow attachments to come through to the forums.
Looks like animations are working as well when I did a quick preview. You can check out my upgraded file here.
