I am unable to see one on my slides in my player menu. That being said I have gone into my player settings and have tires to add the slide to the menu deck. When I do this it shows that is is added then when I click ok it then disappears again both on my menu and in my player. I was wondering if there is a solution to this?
Here's something you can try first: when you go to the Player Properties > Menu, you should be able to reset your menu, so it matches your Story View:
