Hello! I would just record the screen, and select to insert it in a new scene. In story view, you can then delete the scene. After that, you can go to the slide in need of the update, delete the old recording, and insert the new one. Storyline organizes all of your video recording so you can insert them wherever you like:
You can find them in that drop down box once you've recorded the capture.
