Parul, have you tried uploading published content to another location and testing from there? You could try using Articulate's Tempshare and just confirm that you have no audio when played back from that location - http://tempshare.articulate.com/
There are confidentiality issues as we are working for the client. Please
let me know if I can test on some private server where we can delete
afterwards.
tempshare content is deleted after 10 days, but if you need confidentiality you may consider contacting the Articulate Support team - https://articulate.com/support/contact
I am contacting Support team also. Meanwhile letting you know that in the Published version folder, all the mp3 files gets corrupted and reduced to 1kb size.
Great idea to contact our Support team--they are available 24/7 to assist! I wanted to check in on your case, but didn't see one listed under your name. Do you happen to have a case number you can share with me?
I took a look at Parul's case and Alyssa was able to successfully publish his file and hear the audio. She recommended the following next steps for Parul:
Check that you're using the latest update of Storyline 360 (you'd want to use the latest update of Storyline 2, Update 12)
Publish content locally and upload to the intended publish environment for testing. If you aren't ready to put on your own website, you can upload to Tempshare.
Double check that you're using a supported browser, and on your mobile device that the mute button is not on
If you'd like us to take a look at your project file, we're happy to! Upload here using the Add Attachment button.
I published your course for LMS and hosted it on SCORM Cloud here. Could you give that link a try and let me know if you're able to hear audio? Thanks!
It seems to be playing ok but it automatically plays the Flash version. Is there a way to get it to launch the html5 version? When you look at the story_content folder do all of the mp3 files have a file size listed above 1k?
Your project will play just fine because all of the mp3 files look good. We have rebuilt our courses again and they are getting better but for this output we will still have one scene that will not play. I have attached a screen shot. This is happening on multiple computers and we are all running SL2 update 12. It appears that the story file is getting corrupt but we have no way of telling until we look at the published output. We tried varying the audio compression settings but it did not make any difference.
Really sorry this is giving you so much trouble, John. I'm going to share your file with our Support Engineers so they can work with you one-on-one to get this sorted as soon as possible. Keep an eye out for an email from my team.
I seem to be having the same problem with my courses. Everything was working great, now for some reason when I was publishing the audio files started becoming corrupted and were only 1KB in size and could not be opened with any software.
I tried a number of things this morning, and what I found was that if I save the story file to somewhere else on my computer, publish as HTML5 only and to a new folder (not where I was publishing before), the audio files published normally. Because of my clients needs, I now have to go back and re-publish in HTML5 with Flash fall back. A very laborious process. If I try to go to that format first, but in a new folder, I still get the corrupted audio.
If anyone has any suggestions that would help me avoid this long process I would appreciate it.

Yes I have mailed them also.
Hi Parul
unfortunately none of us on the forum can help as we can't see the file. Good luck.
Hi Parul!
I just sent you a reply via your case. Let's keep the conversation going over there!
was this issue ever resolved? We are having the same problem publishing courses in SL2
Sorry to hear you're having trouble, John! I have a few questions that will help me narrow down why this is happening.

Hi,
The problem is in the publishing. The files play ok in preview but after they are published, they don't have any size and no program can open them.
John
Thanks, John! Would you mind sharing your file with me? You can attach it here, and I'll take a look under the hood.
here is one of them. We have more than one doing the same thing. The English versions work ok but after the translation is done we have the problem.

Hi John,
If you temporarily disable Flash in your web browser, you'll see the HTML5 content.
Also, here's a screenshot of the MP3 file sizes in the published output folder.
