I've been trying to add a URL to both a trigger as well as the Resources section but it doesn't work in either place. I've published the course but the URL will not display. Any suggestions?
By any chance are you viewing the published content locally? If you view published Storyline content on your local hard drive or send it to someone else to view on their local hard drive, you'll encounter security restrictions from the computer, web browser, Flash Player, and network that'll cause various features of your content to fail.
To properly test your published content and share it with others, upload it to the environment for which it was published. Please review the following article for details:
If you have already uploaded the content and tested it, can you share your .story file here, so I can take a look? You can attach the file to your response by using the paperclip icon.
Thanks for getting back to me so quickly Christine. I did publish the course on our local drive so that must be the issue. After reading the link you provided, it looks like I'll need to publish my course for LMS so I'll give that a try. Thanks.
