I have a button for a URL that I want my learn to visit. Do I just need to add a visited state to my button. Then a variable that says if the visited button equal true, they can go to the next slide?
You had referenced a text box with no Visited state in your trigger condition. I assume, you want to enable the next button when the "Dr. Freeman Video' button is clicked. See attached.
I took a look at the file Michael shared, and that one works as expected. The next button is initially in a disabled state, and then made active after the video. You won't be able to advance in his version, as there is no where to advance too - but the button does change and become "clickable". You don't need to publish this to see the behavior - but you will want to check that you're working locally as described here.
If you're still having difficulty, do you want to share what you've set up so that we can take a look at your triggers and such?

There is no need for a variable. You can simply reference the Visited state of the button in a condition.
its a trigger on the next button not a variable.
jump to slide next slide when state of button (jump to URl button) is visited
It's not jumping to the next slide. What am I doing wrong?

I followed your directions to a "t," however, the next button doesn't appear and I can't advance. Is that because it isn't published?
