I don't know if this is possible but is there anyway in Storyline 2 that you can ask the user to take photo of themselves via their webcam and this photo can then be used as their avatar in the eLearning course? Or is this too dynamic for Storyline?
I'm thinking along the lines of apps in iPads that allow the user to take a photo of themselves.
I think you are right, it would be a cool feature though. I know Flash has the capability to access a webcam so it's not impossible but just not via Storyline.
other possibility would be to create a library of avatars within Storyline and let the users to choose one at the very beginning of the courseĀ (just like we as forum members have a range of graphic avatars available to choose from)
Thanks for the suggestion, that is one option I have considered. I was hoping for something a bit more dynamic but I guess the world of the eLearning has to catch up first!

There maybe someone more intelligent than me who can help, but my guess would be that the software couldn't do this
