Use timers for triggering random motion paths - Storyline 3

Jun 10, 2019

Hi there, I am trying to use timers for randomly moving objects on motion paths.

I have watched the explanations of the Eiblin's quest for the part with the boss and the bats and there are many interesting details there, but I did not get exactly how to use a timer to randomly move an object on a motion path.

I would like to understand the basic case. For instance, I have an object that has two motion paths - one is going up, the other one is coming down.

I would like to trigger these two motion paths randomly. I have two timers off the scene that should trigger the two motion paths of the object on the scene. One timer makes a circle motion path that lasts 5 sec, the other timer does the same with 3 sec circle.

Any ideas where I should have a look to understand better the basics, please?

Thank you in advance

Bobby
