Using Articulate Mobile Player with Moodle courses

Jan 16, 2014

Hi Everyone,

This is my first post to this site so I am hoping I can make it as clear as possible

I have developed online learning modules using Articulate Storyline. These modules are then uploaded to a Moodle LMS platform.

How do I download these courses into the Articulate Mobile Player app on my iPad? I have look at all the other posts and made sure I am publishing the files correctly etc.

**Note - when I publish the files in Articulate, I select LMS option as that what the Moodle requires.

Thanks so so much!!!

Hi E and welcome to Heroes!

You can find documentation about what Phil is mentioning here.   Since your LMS doesn't support Tin Can API, you'll want to look at the directions below:

  • Deploy your course as HTML5 content, and have learners access it from your LMS with a browser that supports HTML5: This is a good option if you’re using an LMS which does not support Tin Can API and if learners will use an iPad or other device which doesn’t support Flash. When you publish, choose LMS as your publish option, and mark the checkbox to “Include HTML5 output. Find out more about publishing for LMS here.
