when publishing a course, storyline creates woff fonts from all the fonts used in the course and automatically integrates them into the css file (data/css/output.min.css)
not supported fonts in storyline
the storyline webplayer does not support "variableFonts"
If you use such a font, thin/light/medium/bold/extrabold/... will not work in the published course
typical there is a static version of variableFonts, install this version
if there is no static version (e.g. Windows Bahnschrift) don't use it
for some fonts you need special Licensing of Web Fonts
Microsoft (eg. Arial is not allowed as web font without extra paying)

The main consideration is to choose learner readability, not cool appearance.
