Custom Player will not preview or publish
Feb 10, 2016
Cannot preview "scene" or "entire project" using custom players. Individual slides preview correctly.
If I use the "Storyline player" all works correctly.
Sometimes 'Error: cannot find file" comes up when trying to preview entire story or scene using any of my clients custom players.
I have tried to rebuild the custom players but get the same results.
All client players worked prior to installing Windows 10.
These are the first attempts since the Windows Upgrade. Too late to go back!
Also loaded projects into Storyline2 trial and get the same results.
Added "file exemption" to my AVG Security, project is on C drive on computer. Open to suggestions.

Hi Tom!
I see where you reached out to our support team (00735829) on this as well and are currently working with Wilbert.
I will follow along as well.
I just popped in to check on your case and see where you are still testing on your end. I will follow up again. Curious :)
Hi Leslie
Making headway. Narrowed down to the addition of slide notes. Rebuilt custom player one step at a time. Player crashed when "notes" added. I had added notes by dictating Dragon to Office Word, then copy and pasting to Storyline slide. Plan to copy and paste from Notepad to see if it will work. Wilbert from Customer Support has been very helpful. Will update as things go along.
So glad to hear it Tom and thanks for popping in with an update. Glad you are getting the assistance needed.
Problem solved. Cut and pasted using Notebook and all is working as designed. hanks to Wilbert in Customer Support Mondays deadline will be met.
So glad to hear that Tom and thank you for popping in with an update. Must have been some formatting you were not aware of and Notepad was able to ignore.
