Quiz Review Issue

Dec 26, 2013

Hi,

I have created a results slide which pulls results from 3 different quiz slides. Of these 2 belong to the same scene, while the third one is placed in a different one . The results slide (also placed in a different scene) collects correctly from all 3 of them, but when I start the review the players shows only the 2 ones belonging to the same scene and then it blocks (the submit button does not take me further as the trigger says. Anyone has any idea on how to fix this? I have tried all I could, but I cannot make it work.

Thanks!

Luca

Hi Luca and welcome to Heroes!

On a quiz review you should no longer have the submit button, but instead some previous and next buttons to allow the user to navigate through the review. When you mention it blocks, you're just not able to proceed out of the scene with the 2 quizzes?

First off, you'll want to check the following things which could cause odd behavior in Storyline:

  • Work on your local drive (your C: drive).Working on a network drive or a USB drive can cause erratic behavior, includingfile corruption, loss of audio, and other unexpected behavior.
  • You should also make sure the directory pathto your project files and your published output is less than 260 characters(for example C:\Articulate).
  • Avoid using special characters, accents orsymbols in your file names.

It may be easier to figure out what's happening with your .story file if you're able to share it here, and you can also share it privately here.
