I am building a Storyline course (that will be added as a block in a Rise course) and would like to use an LMS variable (the learner's department) from our Absorb LMS in the course to control triggers but can't see if it is possible to import the variable each time a learner accesses the Storyline block (course).
Any help on how to do this (or confirmation it's not possible) would be much appreciated.

You wouldn't be able to pull the department that wouldn't be part of the Scorm API
