I'm working on a logon simulation. After entering the username, I'd like the user to advance to the password field by pressing TAB. (trigger attached) Right now, you have to press TAB twice to advance. I've turned off accessibility. I've removed all objects from the Tab Order window.
It looks like you're using the tab key to jump to a different slide to get to the password field, and that may cause the auto-focus to not immediately fall on the text-entry box once the new slide starts, causing you to have to use the TAB key again, is that correct?
This discussion here may help point you in the right direction of how others have worked around this. Hope it helps!

Thanks Ren and Matthew! Ren's suggestion worked and I didn't need to try Matthew's but I'm grateful to both of you.
