Using Variables to advance pages

Mar 27, 2015

I am using variables to advance the pages where the trigger is set up to jump to the next slide when the user clicks the next slide if "variable" is equal to true. The question I have is, if I have to crate one variable for each page of the course.

I noticed that I created for instance a variable named "3slidecomplete" to use on slide 3. The question is if I can use the same variable on slide 3 of other scenes.

I thought I could but I noticed that is not working in all slides.

Any help will be great. Thanks!

I'm not sure I understand what you're trying to do but you may not need variables at all. If you have some trigger on screen that you want to make sure the user has clicked then you can just just a condition on the Next button. Same would work if you have media is playing and you want to make sure the user sees/hears it all. Set a condition on the Next button to advance when "the media" ends.

Is this the kind of thing you're trying to do?
