I am relatively new to using Storyline 2 and am struggling with a few issues in my quiz I have created.
I want to use a timer for some questions (coming from a question bank - a random selection of 4), but when the user reviews the quiz I want the timer to not be visible.
I have tried using a true/false variable but I am clearly getting something wrong as my layers don't 'hide' when the variable changes to 'true'.
I have attached a very cut-down version of what I am trying to do.
You actually had your timer on the base layer. I moved that to the correct layer and also added a reset to the variable if the user clicks retry quiz. Please check the source file. Hope this helps.
