Variable for external website

In our medical learning modules we call up an external website (wiki with glossary) to be shown in a lightbox. For this we use a webobject on a hidden page. I am interested whether there is some experience about the primary string of the external address. Can there be a variable used that forms the beginning of the string, so in case of changing the address of the wiki, we do not have to change all the addresses on all the hidden webobjects pages ...
Would make it all easier and save a lot of work ...
Thanks for your help!

Hi Tom!
I'm not sure that I'm following your question, but it sounds like you may be referring to a relative URL, which we do not support. I invite you to check out this thread.
Hopefully someone in the community will be able to support you.
Thanks, Leslie,
sounds like a tad difficult. I thought of a clean method, which seemingly is not possible :-(
I very much appreciate your answer, though.
All the best,
Tom
Hi, Tom -- Thanks for stopping back in, and I wanted to mention that you are always welcome to share your ideas for features or functionality you might like to see in the future with our Product team by using this form. :)
Hello,
I have the same situation, needing to pass or change a parameter, that will be given by the LMS, in the URL of a WebObject.
I found a minimal 4 lines of Javascript possibility to do that. It can be called in an event of the page.
Here is working a sample.
Thanks, Claude, for your reply!
I will try it asap.
All the best,
Tom
