Variable HTML5 Bug??
Apr 14, 2015
Im Wondering if anyone has experience this before! I have 2 separate layers im trying to display on the right hand side on the attached image. Im using a variable on the text entry box to display what layer i want to show based on what the user wants to display.
This method works fine on preview, and the published story.html!! But it does nothing on the HTML5 published html.
Is this a known bug on the published files?
Thanks in advance!

Hi Nicos,
Where are you testing the HTML5 published output? You'll want to ensure you're viewing it in one of the support browsers here and that you're also viewing the published content within the intended environment.
Hi Ashley,
Thanks for the reply. Testing the HTML output on Chrome (Mac). So shouldn't be a problem... Nothing out of the ordinary. Its just the variable as described doesn't seem to work on the HTML5 output but does on the story.html output. It feels like a bug, not a system requirement problem.
Hi Nicos,
Ok - could you tell us about where you're testing this in the HTML5 output to see the issue? We'd want to take a look at a sample file and see what you've set up to do some additional testing.
