I'm using the trial version of Storyline and this is a deal breaker for me.
I have a customer that requires that each slide has synced video and text that could be controllable via a set of play, pause, rewind and fast forward buttons. So when you pause, everything pauses. Until now I've only managed to pause the video but the text box text keeps on going..
I guess tha you've chosen to controll video with video controls (video window gets it's own toolbar). But if you just insert video into the slide and add your text there as well then it will stop when you click on stop/pause on toolbar in storyline player. I attached a picture)
