Hello. I am looking at integrating a video introduction to my Storyline modules and am not very knowledgeable about video. What is the most cost-effective way to create video for Storyline? Is recording Zoom calls with a webcam effective?
There are several ways that you can create video that you can use in Storyline. Zoom saves recorded calls as MP4 files, which can be imported into a Storyline project. Another inexpensive method is to use Snagit, or Camtasia to capture your screens and make a recording. The advantage of this, is you can record things that are not part of a Zoom call. Snagit works well, but I prefer Camtasia because it matches the framerate used in Storyline.
Once you have your MP4 video, you can import it into Storyline. You can even trim the video right there in Storyline if you need.
