Video Embed Help
Mar 08, 2013
I have looked into the two option for embedding YouTube video and I like the insert a video from website option, but for whatever reason there is a quality loss with the video. I like the fact that I can layer this video because we have an image of people watching the video in a theater over top the image. That being said we tried a webobject and the quality was much better but it always is on the top of the screen and ruins the effect of it actually playing it the theater, but we like having the quality, scrub bar, and the like and dislikes. Does anyone know if the insert video option even counts as a view on youtube?
So anyway, I am stuck and looking for assistance. Is there either a way to bring a png over a webobject or a way to increase the video quality of the option insert video from website? Any ideas or examples would be helpful!
Thanks

Not sure if viewing an embedded youtube video in SL counts as a hit on YouTube, but it seems like it would?
I've never experienced quality issues with embedding youtube videos in SL... I wonder if it could be size related? Are you sizing the video up or down a lot compared to the real actual size of the video?
Well the presentation fills the screen, but the video does not. It is larger than a normal youtube display, but the web object embed is clear as day, but the insert video is pixelated.
