I just published my 110 slide Storyline file to web. I have a opening video that is supposed to play when course starts. All that shows is a white screen. After a couple seconds it goes to the next slide. Is there a certain format the video needs to be?
Would you mind publishing your file here: http://tempshare.articulate.com/. Your server might not support the MP4 MIME type. Test it out on tempshare and let me know if your video shows then.
My video file is on my computer. I converted the WMV to .MP4. I published it. When it asked if I would like to veiw the project, I clicked it and it opened it in my web browser. All I can see is a blank slide, which stays on the screen the length of the video that is not there. Then it goes to the next slide.
When I converted the video to SWF formart and published my project, it worked fine. Should I just go with flash? But, I want to be able to view it on the iPad Articulate app.

Always Happy to Help,

I will try that thanks
But as soon as it was done finished publishing, I opened up the folder and clicked the html file. So I didn't put it any server.
I uploaded it but it still didn't work. The video is wmv Full HD.
When I converted it to SWF file it sorta worked.
Will the Flash file be seen on the Ipad using the app?
Hi Joshua,
Are you inserting your wmv video as a web object? Any video that is just inserted should be converted to .mp4. Is the video hosted somewhere?
Adrian
Thanks so much for helping!

Hi Joshua,
If you wouldn't mind submitting a support case and including your files, we'll take a closer look and see if we can't get it working for you.
Adrian
Will do
Thanks so much.
