A course I'm building features a number of screen recordings that can be optionally viewed by the user. They sit on their own layer above the stage, if that matters. Ability to move around the timeline for the layers is set to "yes."
For some of the videos, the user can move around on the timeline and the video moves accordingly with no problems. But I have one that will always restart at the beginning when the user does this. All of the videos are the same FPS and should be the same codec, since I edited them in After Effects and output through Adobe Media Encoder. I'm really at a loss for what I can do, if anything, to get this one particular video to work properly, and I'm open to suggestions.
Figured it out, in case anyone runs into this problem themselves in the future -- double-check your layer timeline. Somewhere along the way mine had doubled, so that it was twice as long as the original video. Moved the ending to the end of the video and it all works as intended.
