video preview quality

After recording a video the preview quality is similar to a broken tv resembling flashing colour and unable to see the video. Previewing the video before accepting into the storyline scene the video plays well. Could this be a video graphics problem on my side?

Hi Gail,

I haven't seen that behavior before - so I can't say for certain if it's a graphics issue on your end.

A few things you may want to look into:

  • Are you working locally?
  • Have you tried inserting a regular mp4 or something else into Storyline instead of recording a video? How did that behave?
  • Have you tried publishing the odd version to see how it behaves there? 
  • If it's consistent with any video, you may also want to look at the repair of Storyline. 
  • Are all your video and graphics drivers up to date? You may need to check with your IT team to look into this.
