Video Quality on IE
Aug 01, 2017
Hi,
I am publishing a host of courses with video content in them. Videos are MP4 files and imported into articulate with "Resize Browser to Fill Screen" and " Scale Browser to Fill Browser Window". Somehow, I see the output files showing poor quality video on IE/Edge but far better on Chrome/Firefox.
Can you suggest, if it's a Brower issue and whether there is a work around available?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Debnath,
Scaling of videos (to be larger or smaller than the original) can cause a loss in quality - so even if the browser is scaling them that could explain it.
You may want to take a look at the best practices here for working with media (it's a Storyline 360 article - but those best practices would apply across all versions).
Surely this flies in the face of responsive design and all that goes with it!
