Video won't preview

I've embedded a video into a slide of course a containing about 50 slides in total. The video won't play in preview, but if I open the Edit Video window it can be played there, and if I publish the course, the video also plays just fine. It seems to just be a problem with previewing the slide. Also, the seekbar does move when previewing, so apparently SL thinks the video is playing. No audio either, but again, all ok when published. Any ideas what this is about?
Video is mp4, about 8 minutes, 660 Mb. I also created a new empty project and inserted this same video and it previews just fine.

Since you tested the behavior in a new project file and it worked properly there, the issue might be isolated to the one project file where the issue was observed.
Would you be willing to share a copy of your project file here or in private by opening a support case so we can take a closer look at that project file? We'll delete it when we're done testing!
