Visibility of Mouse Cursor over a Timeline

Feb 12, 2015

Hi Everyone,

This is my first post, although I have been using Storyline for the last two years.

I have checked out some previous discussions about the Mouse Cursor being displayed over the length of the timeline despite choosing a limited duration for the mouse to start and stop it's movement.   My desire is to have the Mouse only appear in the timeline where I set the movement to begin.  Is this possible with Storyline 2? I know that Storyline 1 and 2 both have the same issue, and it's a bit counterintuitive when I use the same logic for objects like shapes, images, audio or video (i.e. the expectation that the mouse will only appear at the beginning and end of it's intended markers).

Any advice or workarounds are appreciated.  One of the workarounds that was being suggested was hiding the mouse with a shape in the same colour of the background. This only works if the background is a solid colour and not a picture with varying colours.

Thanks!
