visited vs hover

Aug 27, 2020

Hello,

Maybe an easy question.

There is a button to go into a quiz branch. If you hover the Color changes to blue. There is also a trigger which changes the color to grey if  user clicks the button. When I come back to the slide, the color is blue. I want the color to be grey. What can I do.

Thanks for help.

Delete the trigger which changes the color to grey. If the button has a state Named Visited, and one named Hover, it will change to blue when hovered over, and grey if clicked. The only exception to these built-in actions is if there are man-made triggers that attempt to perform the same action, thus interfering with their native function.

Those triggers are never executed in your project, because the "Jump to another slide" is executed first, which ends the execution of the list of triggers associated with the click.  Triggers that are associated with an event  are executed in the order they appear, and "Jump" interrupts that execution.

Even though they are not exeuted, their presence is enough to interfer with the normal function.

Hi Walt,

Thank you for your fast reaction.

The state normal is green. And I want to have that green if the learner
first visits the slide. Afterwards if he hovers over the button he gets
the blue and if he clicks he comes to the quizes and if he comes back I
would like to show him, the the quizes are visited by the color grey.

Mit freundlichen Grüßen / Kind regards
