I notice that the volume discrepancies happen when I have more than one audio file per slide, to be more specific, I notice it happens when I have audio files overlapping, like when I have background music during voiceover. It looks as if Storyline is trying to adjust and level the volume levels on its own. Is there a way to prevent this from happening? I'm using Storyline 2.
Just to add to my initial comment, I've been doing some troubleshooting and it seems that the problem only happens when running the HTML5 version, the Flash version works fine.
Thanks for reaching out here and sharing that you're only seeing it in the HTML5 output. It's something we had reported as well for Storyline 2, and were able to change the way audio was handled prior to the release of Storyline 3 and Storyline 360 to resolve the issue. If you wanted to give it a test, take a look at the trial of Articulate 360 here!
