Ways to show a learner how much of a course they have completed?

Hi All,

Is there a visual way of showing learners how much of a course they have completed  (for example the % of the course they have completed or the number of slides out of the total number of slides completed).  I know that learners can open up the Menu to see where they are on the course but I was looking for something a little less detailed if this is possible.
