I have a button linked to a URL. The button is set to open a new window when clicked. The URL I am using works when tested. However, in my puclished course, when the user clicks the button a new window does appear with the correct website BUT closes instantly after. I don't know why.
Are you viewing the published output locally? If publishing for the Web, you would need to view the published output on a Web Server. If publishing for a LMS, you would need to view it on a LMS, etc. Take a look at the following.
