Web objects issue- Corrupt files maybe?

I am developing a course using Storyline and I wanted to add my company's website as well as a commercial we have on our company's youtube page. I went in to publish everything and when i got to those multimedia slides, there was no sign of these web objects or videos. But this is the kicker, i opened a new project, loaded the web object to the single slide, then published it and it came through no problems?
How can that be??? I haven't found anything else like that scenario as of yet. could the file be corrupt, do I need to start all over? Please let me know. It is the free trial version i am using, I am trying to sell this to my boss and would rather find the correction then tell them that the feature is cool but it doesnt work. I could see the video on the preview, and when i did the web objects preview that worked as it should too!

A few things that we can touch on. When working in Storyline, you want to make sure that you are working on your local drive and not network or USB drives. The best way to 'test' your content is to view it as your learner would, which means publishing the content. There is an article here that covers how to properly publish and share your content.
It could be that something was wrong with that particular file, but I would not recommend 'starting over', you could just import into a new project to see if that alleviates the problem.
The trial version is the same as the purchased version, so no worries there.
