Sadly, we discontinued Preso because no one was using it. We have tens of thousands of Articulate 360 users. But in our highest month of Preso usage, only a handful of people created content with it.
We loved this app, but we thought it would be better for our customers if we reallocate Preso resources to products that provide the most value.
Thank you. Was wondering the same thing. A project just popped up where Preso would have been a great fit.
Can this (discontinuation of Preso) be posted somewhere on the Articulate 360 site? It might be helpful. No search of Preso pulled up information on its discontinuation. Thanks!
That said, we'd love to see additional course templates offered from Articulate. :) Thanks for your time!
Great point, Bobbi - and I'll pass it along to the team!
We're publishing new templates and assets into Content Library all the time, and you'll also find an bunch of templates and resources in the ELH downloads section. Check it out here!
Please consider taking references to it off of the community - like here - so people won't spend time trying to find it only to discover it's not a resource anymore.
Thanks, Sherri. I had David update it - and we know there are still a few other mentions of Preso in ELH, but much like any family member who is no longer with us, we probably won't remove all mentions of it. Memories and all. 🙂
It has been removed from the main Articulate 360 pages, the tutorials, support articles and the Articulate desktop tray application itself.
Since the Preso app would have needed to continually validate your subscription, it would have still had to connect to Articulate 360. With that in mind, we had to pull it for everyone.
We let folks know about that prior to the start of 360 renewals this fall in case it would impact anyone's decision, so if you have any other feedback or questions about that I'd ask that you reach out to our Customer Care team using that form or emailing Biz@articulate.com.

I can certainly chime in.

Just following up on Bobbie's point above: is Preso now available for download on the Articulate 360 site, or elsewhere?
Thanks,
M
Hi Marlo,
Preso is no longer available.
Please consider taking references to it off of the community - like here - so people won't spend time trying to find it only to discover it's not a resource anymore.
Also, can we not be “grandfathered” in for Preso since we purchased with the understanding it was included: it only seems fair?
