Wheel Transition not working in Edge

I'm using Storyline 360 and have assigned the "wheel" transition (set at .70 duration) to my section pages. The transition works fine in Chrome and IE, but not at all in Edge - the page just appears with no transition. Cover and fade transitions work fine in all 3 browsers.
Also, when I click links in Edge, they all open a new browser window with each link (that's annoying). In Chrome, the initial link opens in a new window, then subsequent ones open in a new tab within that window. My trigger says "Display in new browser window".
We always test in IE (we know IE is going away), Chrome, and Edge after publishing and uploading to our LMS before calling it "done".
Any thoughts on this? Thanks!

Hi Ann,
It sounds like you've run into the lack of support for some HTML5 animations within Edge and Internet Explorer. The "masking" animations such as the Wheel are ones that may not work there. We've outlined it further in this article, so you'll want to instruct learners to use another browser such as Chrome/Firefox or look at applying a different animation.
