At the beginning of the course I ask the user/learner to input their email and after taking their course (e.i. Security Course) I need to trigger a button to automatically send a template email to the custom address they have entered at the beginning of the course. Is this logic possible?

These two discussions offer a JavaScript workaround for emailing information out of Storyline: One and Two.
If you're using an LMS, the platform might have a setting that allows you to automatically email learners once they complete a course, and you can attach certain content to that automatic email.
