Where to look for Articulate Storyline Specialist job?

Jan 22, 2024

I'm currently engaged in a part-time role where I convert outdated modules, including Word, PowerPoint, and PDF e-learning materials, into Articulate Storyline format.

While exploring opportunities for new projects, I've observed that many clients are seeking expertise in content writing and a more advanced level of instructional design. I'm specifically looking for clients who require assistance in updating their existing e-learning content to Articulate Storyline, which aligns with my current skill set.

I'm open to suggestions and ideas on how to attract clients with a focus on updating e-learning content to Articulate Storyline, as that is the area I am proficient in and capable of handling at the moment.

also here's my rough "portfolio" that may showcase my profiency on designing using Articulate Storyline.

I wish you luck on this journey! It has been my experience that most of the e-learning positions are all-in-ones:

  • Instructional Design
  • e-Learning Developer
  • LMS Administrator

I don't always agree with the decision, but that seems to be the trend. My current position does all 3, but there is a heavy bias toward e-Learning development. I have coworkers whose position description nearly matches mine, but their professional strengths and experiences are very different. I do wish you luck on your journey, but consider that your role on the team might be more important than the role described in the position, and it will be very hard to find out how those compare until you are interviewing.
