I'm not sure I understand the question entirely but you'll see that in the system specs here. To be more specific, Storyline will play on Adobe Flash Player 10.3 or later - so not just Flash 11.
In my case. The client who ask the question is actually the one who has IT authority in my client office.
They have a centralized IT system. Currently they are still using a flash player version older than 10.3. So if they want to update flash player version, they need to push it from central system.
When I told them about the specifications of the system. But they ask more questions "What is the reason the technical specifications should be like that?"
Can you explain to me why the output Articulate must use flash player 10.3 or newer.
I reached out to some members of our development team for a more detailed, technical answer so I hope to have something to share with you soon. It may not be until next week as I know at least one of them is off today - so please stay tuned.
I heard from one of our developers this AM that Flash 10.3 allowed for some newer functionality that they wanted to take advantage of in terms of developing Storyline and the capabilities available so that is the main reasoning behind the system/viewing requirements.
