I am surprised why there is no option of adding an arrow end to the curve line shape. This is a standard feature in powerpoint but not in storyline. In fact I was able to work out a workaround. I created a line arrow. And then pasted the format on the curve line and the curve got the arrow.
There are dozens of PowerPoint features that are not standard in Storyline, as they are different products!
I am sure more features will appear as we get more versions of Storyline, but while Presenter is a PowerPoint Add-in, SL is not, so do not expect everything to be the same.
First of all please accept my heartiest congratulations on becoming a Super Hero!!
Secondly, thanks for responding to my question. I understand that SL is DIFFERENT from PPT. They are after all absolutely different products. I do not expect the two to be the same. However, the reason I mentioned the semblance of two softwares is because I feel that this may be a small bug in the SL application.
I can understand if curved arrow line DOES NOT have any arrow settings, but how is it that my workaround works. i.e. when I paste the format from an arrow line, the curved line gets the arrow too, but as such by default the ARROW ends settings are DISABLED. Now I am happy that my workaround works. I am at least able to use these curved lines (I love using them by the way). But just wondering why was this arrow ends thingie disabled from the curved line arrow. It is listed in the format options but it is disabled.

After some consultation, we've come to the conclusion that there was no particular reason for leaving the arrow ends out of the curved lines Great workaround, Payal, and thanks for sharing, but I think this warrants a feature request also. Thanks for posting!
Thanks Peter. I have posted a feature request. I struggled with the absence of arrow ends for quite a few months. Tried multiple things such as creating the arrow ending using a scribble object or creating the curved line arrow object in ppt and then bringing it in SL as an object. But then finally when I was able to figure out this simple workaround, my happiness knew no bounds. I was like a small child who figured out how to tie her shoelace
It doesn't look like this was a very popular feature request. However, the next version of Storyline will include additional features, including shapes and animations.
If you'd like to see this in the current version, I'd recommend using the link that Peter shared earlier to share your suggestion with our product development team. Please be sure to be as detailed as possible. Also, if you have colleagues that would like to see this type of shape added, have them submit their request as well - the more information we have, the better we can gauge the interest in a feature.

It seems this feature was never implemented, can't find curved arrows. Is it in Storyline yet?
